The Solvency II Review: a new direction for UK insurance regulation? Webinar on 11 February at 12.30pm

The UK government is reviewing the Solvency II regime and its impact on the UK’s insurance sector.

We are delighted to invite you to a webinar presented jointly by the Association of British Insurers (ABI), the Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME) and Hogan Lovells when we will discuss the implications and potential outcomes of the review.

The aim of this review is to ensure that the UK’s prudential regulatory regime for the insurance sector is better tailored to support the particular structures, products and business models of the UK insurance industry.  The deadline for submissions is 19 February 2021.  The government last considered the Solvency II regime in 2017 .  This time, following Brexit, the review is much wider in scope.

Please join us on Thursday, 11th February 2021 at 12:30pm (GMT) as we consider the issues covered by the review and discuss the implication of potential changes.
