February 2

Melissa Bianchi, George Ingham, and David Horowitz will be hosting a webinar entitled “What Biotech Employers Need to Know about COVID Vaccines and Returning to the Office,” covering the privacy, employment, and U.S. Food and Drug Administration issues for the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) members. BIO is a trade association for biotech companies.

February 3

Mark Brennan, Vassi Iliadis, Scott Loughlin, Fleur Oké, Morgan Perna, and Tim Tobin will be participating in "The impact of California Privacy and Cybersecurity law on IoT in the home," the next installment of the Internet of Things webinar series, where they will focus on the impact of the California (and other) laws on IoT offerings.

Joke Bodewits will lecture a specialization course on International Data Transfers for CPO University of Nijmegen.

February 11

Chantal van Dam, together with the Amsterdam Life Sciences team, will host a client breakfast seminar and share insight on privacy compliance and enforcement issues for 2020/2021 that are relevant for the life sciences industry.

February 17

Mark Brennan will be leading a discussion on TCPA developments at the American Financial Services Association Law Committee Meeting.

February 19

Christian Tinnefeld and Henrik Hanssen will be speaking at the Conference IT Forum in Göttingen, Germany on General Data Protection Regulation fines and damage claims. Christian and Henrik will also join a panel discussion with DPA Heads of Hamburg and Lower Saxony and in-house privacy experts.

February 24

Pete Marta will be speaking about ransomware trends at the Cyber Lawyer Roundtable event.
