Eduardo Ustaran will be a speaker at the IAPP Global Privacy Summit 2021’s session titled “Expert Bar – European Regulatory Updates: GDPR, Brexit, Schrems II, CNIL & More”, where he will give advice on the latest regulatory updates in Europe, including international data transfers, Brexit and UK adequacy, the ePrivacy Regulation, and more.

Eduardo Ustaran will be a speaker at the IAPP Europe Data Protection Intensive Online 2021 session titled "New Emerging Laws and Global Business", where he will discuss how countries in other geographies have started developing their own data privacy laws after the GDPR came into effect.

Bret Cohen will be a speaker at the 2021 RSA Conference session titled "An Existential Crisis for Global Data Flows: Privacy and Security Issues", where he will address requirements for European data transfers, benchmark security measures, and other procedures companies are adopting.

 

May 24

Bret Cohen will be a panelist at the Privacy + Security Forum’s Virtual Spring Academy 2021 session titled “Can we do that? How to set up your privacy program to account for new”, where he will discuss the rules around new data uses and provide strategies on how to be proactive to remove common blockers in a way that complies with privacy requirements.

 

May 26

Tim Tobin will be a panelist at the Privacy + Security Forum’s Virtual Spring Academy 2021 session titled “U.S. Privacy Update: CCPA, CPRA, Virginia, State Laws and Federal Law Tracker”, where he will give an update on the key state bills currently in the legislative cycle, the status of a potential federal privacy law, and how the U.S. privacy landscape may change in the next 12 months.

Tim Tobin will be a panelist at the Privacy + Security Forum’s Virtual Spring Academy 2021 session titled “Prospects for Federal Privacy Legislation in 2021 (and the Impact of New State Laws)”, where he will cover recent developments at the federal and state level.
