Members of the Hogan Lovells International Arbitration practice group, including Daniel E. Gonzalez, Samaa Haridi, Alvin Lindsay, Nicole Geldenhuys, Nata Ghibradze, and Nadine Lederer, updated the Protocol to ensure a smooth process for all involved in international arbitration hearings. The updated version provides revised recommendations and best practices, which are optional and may require additional customization on a case-by-case basis. Additional revisions to Version 2.0 include an overview of key considerations parties may wish to address prior to conducting and participating in a remote hearing, including location, time zones, test sessions, security, among others. The interactive PDF also expands on the use of hearing platforms and includes valuable remote hearing checklists for participants.
