In our "HR in Hogan Lovells’ podcasts" series, experts from the Hogan Lovells Warsaw office address a number of practical issues related to employment law in its broadest sense. Our podcast series is published in Polish.
An employee council is, without doubt, a body representing the interests of said employees. However, are employees always entitled to elect one within their organisation? When is a company obliged to set up an employee council, and what penalties might a company face for failing to inform the employees of the possibility of setting one up? What are the employer's obligations towards an already established works council?
These, and a number of other questions from HR practice, are answered by Agnieszka Szczodra-Hajduk, and Paulina Przewoźnik-Lewiński in the latest episode of the "HR in Hogan Lovells’ podcasts" series.
